The prompt for today is: St. Patrick’s Day
This is what I wrote:
My ancestry is mostly German, but there’s
some Irish in there. But I’m not big on
St. Patrick’s Day. Maybe if I was more
of a drinker I’d get excited for green beer.
Now before you accuse me of being racists
towards the Irish for claiming that St. Patrick’s Day is all about green beer,
as far as I can tell, there are only two big things about St. Patrick’s Day: a
parade (big whoop) and green beer. I’m
sure there are plenty of families who do special things for St. Patrick’s Day,
but they’re not nationally known.
My plans for tomorrow are what I normally
do on Thursdays. How about you?
